Registrar's Timeline for Critical Dates - Spring 2010
Time and Date Activity/Action Comment 
Wednesday, Jan 6 Last day to clear Business Office. Students must clear Business Office today to prevent having their schedules dropped.                 (This includes turning in their Student Account Information Form)
Thursday, Jan 7 Schedules are Dropped. Registration closed for the day. Registrar's Office drops schedules for students who have not cleared the Business Office.
Friday, Jan 8 Registration Re-Opens. Registration will re-open through FAS for faculty to register students.
Monday, Jan 11 CLASSES BEGIN!!!  CRITICAL: Please print and check rosters every class period. Send students to the Registrar's Office to resolve any problems immediately.
Tuesday, Jan 12 Last day to register students through FAS Students must register through the Registrar's office beginning Wed, Jan. 13. Last day for students to withdraw and receive 100% tuition/fee refund.
Tuesday, Jan 19 STUDENT ALERT: Last day to add. LATE REGISTRATION ENDS. Last day to add a class for academic credit.
Mon-Fri, March 1-5 MID-SEMESTER PERIOD Mid-Term grades should be posted by noon on Monday the 8th.  
Friday, Mar 5 STUDENT ALERT: Spring 2010 Graduation Requirements Deadline. Last day to meet non-academic graduation requirements. JQE and chapel requirements must be met by this date to participate in the Spring ceremony.
Friday, Mar 5 STUDENT ALERT -  Fall 2010 Graduation Application Deadline. Last day to file for graduation/participation in Fall ceremony                                                              ~ Please remind seniors! ~
Monday, Mar 8 MID-TERM GRADES DUE BY NOON Grades will be submitted to the Registrar by 12:00 noon today. 
Monday, Mar 22 Advance Registration for Fall 2010 begins Advising & Registration through FAS in your office.                                                            Contact the Registrar if you incur difficulties. 
Friday, Apr 23 STUDENT ALERT: Last regular class day. Last day to drop/withdraw from course or school
Mon-Thur,  Apr 26-29 FINAL EXAMS WEEK  BEST OF LUCK !!!
Friday, Apr 30 GRADUATION REHEARSAL                        10:30am & 1:30pm All graduates should be in Baker Auditorium at least 30 minutes before their scheduled rehearsal time. 
Saturday, May 1 GRADUATION CEREMONY                        10:30am & 1:30pm All graduates should check in with their graduate Marshals at least 30 minutes before the start of their ceremony.
Monday, May 3                12:00 Noon FINAL GRADES DUE BY NOON Grades may be posted beginning on the first day of finals (Monday, Apr. 26), and will be accepted until the following Monday, May 3rd at noon. 

 

 

 

 

REGISTRATION STEPS


1. Check CampusConnect to make certain your student account has a "0.00" balance through the Account Status menu option. Fines must be paid in the Business Office prior to registering.

2. Check your total hours earned through Campus Connect. Hours earned DO NOT INCLUDE hours currently in progress. Registration times are based upon classification.

3. Schedule an appointment time with your advisor in advance (on the appropriate registration days(s). CampusConnect will allow your advisor to register you only on those days when, according to hours earned, you are eligible to register.

4. Meet with your advisor at your scheduled time to select and register for courses.

5. Review and sign a printed copy of the class schedule after you have registered.

6. Students with questions about billing or financial aid should check with those offices.

In order to make sure your schedule is not canceled prior to start of the Spring 2010 semester, you must:

 

Complete and submit the Student Information Form prior to 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 6, 2010. Make arrangements for payment of all charges prior to 4:00 p.m., Thursday, January 7, 2010. After Friday, January 8, 2010, check CampusConnect to make sure your schedule was not canceled.
